Radford coach Brad Greenberg has been suspended for four games for NCAA violations tied to impermissible team travel and associated extra benefits for an ineligible player.

"My actions, which I know were in error, resulted in NCAA violations and I regret my decisions," Greenberg said in a statement. "I apologize to the team, our administration and supporters of Radford University basketball."

During Greenberg's suspension, assistant coach Rick Hall will serve as acting head coach with the help of assistants Rick Callahan and Cedric Smith. The suspension starts with Tuesday's game against Presbyterian.
